Beaded Lanyard Patterns

How to Make Lanyard Patterned Stuff

With some direction and a little material, you could also be well on your way to create your own beaded lanyard patterns. Follow these easy directions.

Required Materials
• The main part - Lanyard
• The second main part - Beads
Method
• First step, using your lanyard, take 2 strand ends and tie them into a knot at the end of the strand.
• Second step is to place a bead there at the end, now take the 4 lanyard strings and separate and point them in all the directions of a compass. (N, S, E, W) Now we will just want to pull the west string over the north string so that it overlaps.
• Third, you need to continue switching strings by overlapping the north string along with the east string. Now, the north string will be on top of the east and west strings. When you have reached this point, you then take the east string and cross it over and on top of the south string. Finally, you need to take the south string and cross it over the west string.
• Last step, you need to take every end of every string and pull all of the four ends tight so that you may tie a very good knot. That is it; you just completed your first knot. Know just continue each of these steps until you get the length that you want. When you finally get the length you want, do not forget to put a bead before the last knot.
Note
I always use patterned and discolored beads on my lanyard patterns to make it look brilliant in the sun!
